The Kapiti Rotary club runs a very successful trailer raffle to promote the club and raise funds for our various causes.For the past 10 years, in the 2 months leading up to Xmas, the club has run a trailer raffle to promote the club and raise funds for our various causes. The prizes are valued in excess of $4,000 and include the trailer, which is full of goodies-food, electrical equipment, bicycles, generously donated or discounted by a number of local businesses.
Club members give up a couple of hours of two weekends and have a great time promoting awareness and engaging with the public from outlets such as Coastlands, The Warehouse and Mega Mitre 10.
At $2 per ticket or 6 for $10 Kapiti's public get right behind it enabling the club to channel funds back into the community
