RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) is a week-long leadership development programme for 18-24 year-old participants, hosted and sponsored by Rotary Clubs. Kapiti Rotary hosted in 2023.RYLA is an experiential live-in high energy programme designed to help young people develop their team work and communication skills and fulfil their potential as leaders.
Most events focus on university students, or young professionals and include presentations, activities, and workshops that cover a variety of topics, including:
- Leadership fundamentals and ethics
- Communication skills
- Problem solving and conflict management
- Community and global citizenship
