President Paul welcomed a good sized gathering for the traditional first night fish n chips. Great kai and company. The sergeant's session caught some of us unawares.
Eddie gave us an impromptu update on the minigolf and answered questions. The course has been going well. Numbers of people playing have been very pleasing, especially given the sometimes inclement weather. The course has been closed on the wet and wild days, but otherwise it has been very busy. Everyone from Rotary and the Lions Clubs has been pitching in well. If people who haven't yet participated want to have an induction, register for a shift and buddy up with someone who has done it before, or sing out on WhatsApp and someone can give you a rundown on the duties.

Pensioners' Day 18 December
There was a great turnout of helpers from Rotary, Lions and the public to help with a well organised food handout. Again generously sponsored by the local Pak n Save and Starfish, people received a decent bag of groceries and a medley of seafood. Cars flowed through smoothly although the turnout was not as high as last time. The leftover food was donated to St Vinnie's. The people who received the parcels were very grateful. Well done everyone, and a great project led by Mal Bird. Mal has sadly decided to leave the Club. His legacy projects live on and we will always be grateful for Mal's hard work and enthusiasm.
