FROM RODERICK KINGHORN
A special Guest came to Kapiti Rotary with Vic this other week. The guest gave Roderick $20.00 for 20 Raffle tickets and instructed me to give them away to individuals.
In giving tickets to individuals, Roderick  related the story as to how this came about. to everyone who received a Raffle ticket
Roderick wanted to share in their heartfelt expression of such an act of giving to others. Ingrid instantaneously  went out to thank him personally. The expression of doing something every day for someone took on a new meaning. It was an experience shared which will stay with us for some time.
The moment was not lost either on those who shared this moment of empathy toward this generous gift of a $1 ticket.

A little goes a long way!

THIS WEEK'S PARTING THOUGHT

Our doubts are Traitors, and they make us lose what we oft might win, by fearing to attempt.

Translation:
You’ll never know ‘til you have a go!

Let's support Gary and Chris this Movember

This Movember, Chris Dentice and I are growing moustache’s for 30 days and Mo-ving for men's health. We are doing it to raise funds for Movember, and we need your support:

We are supporting Movember because they’re tackling some of the most significant health issues faced by men. Your donations will help them stop,  men dying too young.

Why do men die younger ?

How do we alter this fact ?

Who can we speak to for help ?

Where & Which health agencies can men go to for help ?

When will changes take place ?

What can I do to help others as well as myself ?

These questions inspired me to grow a QUESTION MARK moustache this year. Chris has a conventional caterpillar moustache.

If you want to help other men, as well as yourself, then click on this link below, then Click on the donate tab, and follow the instructions. It’s very simple!
