Dear Members of Kapiti Rotary,

On behalf of the Kapiti Community Foodbank, please accept our sincere and very grateful thanks for you generosity and manpower last weekend (8/9 October) in a further relocation of our chattels and stock to a new premises at Coastlands Shoppingtown.

The assistance you gave us in moving the large volume of goods as well as hefty equipment such as our freezers and refrigerators enabled us to complete the move in considerably less time than estimated.

The hard and speedy work, camaraderie and light-hearted banter carried out by your members during this undertaking made the task so much easier and gave us a true demonstration of the Rotary ”Four Way Test”. It also made us proud of the community we have here in Kapiti shaped by people such as Rotarians.

We do not underestimate that in order for individual Rotarians to give their time and assistance with the relocation, they had to forego other activities and some took leave from other roles. We are very appreciative of your charity as a loyal supporter of the Foodbank and those in need in Kapiti.

Once again – Thank you! Yours sincerely

Grace Moulton
Secretary
The Kapiti Community Foodbank Inc

5  minute Speaker
Mike  spoke on his views around the Covid Vaccine

It is a very emotive subject which will divide opinions as much as the 1981 Springbok tour

Some members expressed their stance in response

Bottom line is we are allowed our opinions and President Murray wrapped up the meeting reminding us all of tolerance and respect
