JOYFUL & TRIUMPHANT
DIRECTED BY
OUR VERY OWN ROSS JORDAN
Friday 4th Nov 8pm

How to survive the train wreck that can be Christmas with the family is skilfully chronicled by playwright Robert Lord in Joyful & Triumphant.

The play spans forty years of Christmas Days in the lives of the small-town Bishop Family, as they struggle and cavil and cuddle.  Beginning early morning Christmas Day 1949, it moves logically in time through subsequent Christmas Days of the ‘50s, ‘60s, ‘70s, to conclude late evening Christmas Day 1989.

Guest Speaker
PAUL SINCLAIR
Paul's past as a commercial fisherman led him to his current position fostering trade with the Middle East
He had many stories of missed opportunities but he's keen to change that
He passionately believes there is a very profitable trading  future there
Following is his bio from LinkedIn
Whether brokering relationships between Gulf investors and New Zealand companies, exporting products and services to the Middle East, or helping domestic businesses grow internationally, my focus is on ensuring OFNZ™, our clients in the Middle East and our export partners here in NZ grow sustainably.

My professional obsession is on seeing the rewards come home to the creatives, engineers, chemists, scientists, farmers, apiarists, artists, inventors, investors and mavericks who risk it all to bring their products and services to life offshore.

I've enjoyed a massively rewarding career spanning various creative industries, interests and disciplines.
I’m curious about the world and aim to meet and work with the most interesting and positive people I can. Fortunately I've been able to achieve this, operating across cultures from the Middle East to Australasia, the Pacific to Central America.
