SERVICE ABOVE SELF
We are Rotarians because we believe in Service Above Self and are guided by the following principles
1.  Is it the TRUTH?
2.  Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3.  Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4.  Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
Sound like you? Would you like to serve your community?

We welcome new members

ARE YOU WANTING TO MAKE POSITIVE CHANGES IN YOUR COMMUNITY AND AROUND THE WORLD?

Our club members are dedicated people who share a passion for both community service and friendship.

Benefits of membership

Becoming a Rotarian connects you with a diverse group of professionals who share your drive to give back.
  • Discuss your community's needs and discover creative ways to meet them
  • Expand your leadership and professional skills
  • Catch up with good friends and meet new ones
  • Connect with leaders from all continents, cultures, and occupations

Other benefits of membership include:

Rotary Global Rewards, our member benefits programme, which offers discounts on products and services. It’s Rotary’s way of helping our members spend less so they can do more.
The Rotary International Convention is our biggest event of the year. Rotary members from more than 130 countries meet at the convention each year to celebrate our successes and make plans for the future.
Rotary Fellowships give members the chance to join a group of people who share similar interests, hobbies, or vocations. Some groups use their fellowship to make a positive difference.
Rotarian Action Groups unite Rotary members, family members, program participants and alumni who share their expertise in particular fields by collaborating with clubs and districts on projects.

At club meetings in communities across the globe, our people of action come together to strengthen their connections to friends and neighbours and their commitment to improving lives.

Who can join?

Rotary is an inclusive and diverse organisation.
Community minded people of all race, gender, sexual orientation, religion who want to contribute to their communities for the benefit of all concerned.,.
Rotary clubs also welcome Rotaractors, Rotary Peace Fellows, and other members of the family of Rotary who qualify for membership.

How can I become a member?

You are most welcome to come along to one of our meetings to see if Rotary could be the right fit for you. To ensure you are well catered for we'd appreciate a heads up-please contact our Service director.

What’s expected of me?

As a club member, you will be asked to:

  • Pay club dues. Members pay $30 per week for a superb 2 course meal and to contribute toward venue hire.
  • Attend meetings and events. We enjoy a very good % of members to our weekly meetings.
    • Whilst regular attendance will provide greatest benefits, we do understand that we all lead busy lives.
    • There are no attendance rules.
  • Participate in club projects. Again no rules, and there are times when members just need to have a break.
  • Use your professional skills and talents to make a difference.

Rotaract and Interact clubs

If you’re between the ages of 12 and 18, you may be interested in joining an Interact club, a service club for youth. If you’re a young professional, at least 18 years old, you may be interested in joining a Rotaract club. Like Rotary clubs, Rotaract and Interact clubs give their members the chance to make friends, develop leadership skills, and create positive change. Learn more about Rotaract and Interact clubs.

Impact starts with our members — people like you who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves
