Club members gave their Saturday to collect donations of food and cash for Kapiti's Foodbank. The Foodbank has been hit particularly hard over the past 12 months with theft of its stores of food and having to relocate from the Community Centre closed due to weather tightness issues. Our Kapiti community was very generous this year with an unprecedented 400 boxes (approx.) of food gathered and yet to be counted cash. Foodbank shopping trolleys remain at supermarkets for those that missed the collection. With the exception of 2020 (covid) the Kapiti Foodbank appeal has been an annual giving of the club for Kapiti's community for many years.
