Their team leader Julie entertained us with some facts about the state and district. With a population about the same as New Zealand, Wisconsin is quintessential Mid West USA is known for its dairy farms, ginseng production, cold winters and ice cream.  It is sports mad - particularly gridiron (Green Bay Packers) and basketball and with its German heritage dating back to 1830's, is famous for its beer brewing -the origin of many famous beer brands-Miller being one.

Julie also gave examples of their local rotary projects, from infrastructure such as swimming pools to supporting youth development.
