Rosemary and Barry Ward came to share with us the adventures of their intrepid journey from Cape Reinga to Lyall Bay in Wellington. The Te Araroa Trail snakes for 3000km through New Zealand and over their Christmas Break Rosemary and Barry walked the trail down through the North Island.They talked with passion about the many places they visited and the amazing New Zealanders they encountered along the way. They were humbled by the generosity of people who shared shelter, food and stories along the journey. Fortunately no mishaps, only long hot at times hard and tiring days rewarded with great sights /photography, people, sleep and lots of pre prepared dried food (when not been invited into homes). They intend to complete their journey down the South Island in 2021. Recommended to all
